Burrata and Berries
If my first, ever, dessert post comes off as a peculiar choice, then it has done its job of being a direct reflection of my very being. Seriously, though, don't knock it till' you try it! Burrata cheese is probably one of the most heavenly foods in the world. Its gorgeous, delicate mozzarella on the outside, and a soft, luscious, creamy mixture of mozzarella curds and pure cream on the inside. Its adaptable; one might melt it over a pizza, one might serve it as a caprese cheese, and then the real freaaaaaaky ones like me, we eat it for dessert. This cheese is the reason why I could never give up dairy. Its blissful, its light and airy... it makes me run out of adjectives.
Feeds 1 Sasha-sized appetite, or 2 normal humans
- 1 portion of burrata cheese (mine came in a cute little portioned baggy)
- raw honey
- balsamic vinegar
- berries
1. Place your burrata portion on a plate. You can slice it, if you want, I don't do it because I like cutting into it and seeing the cream trickle out with every bite,
2. Drizzle honey and balsamic, and sprinkle berries on top.
3. That's it! Eat it, love it, dream of it later on.
